Summer-Fall 2023: Fraser Basin Council Youth Program, Co-Creating a Sustainable BC initiative

The NWR is happy to share the 2023-24 launch of the Co-Creating a Sustainable B.C initiative through the Fraser Basin Council Youth Program! The NWR Youth Engagement Working Group will be working closely with this program throughout the year, so we hope to see some familiar faces get involved and take action!
Youth participants in the Co-Creating a Sustainable B.C program get to deepen their understanding of sustainability in their region through three lenses (social, economic, and environmental), and take what they’ve learned to design and implement a youth-led project that will have a direct and positive impact in their community. Details about the initiative, stories of past youth projects, and the application form can all be found at the FBC Youth Program website at https://fbcyouthprogram.ca/ccsbc/. The 2023-24 program will run from August 2023 to February 2024, and applications are due July 31st.
