Ray is a Core Committee member of the Nechako Watershed Roundtable, Chair of the Nulki-Tachick Lakes Stewardship Society and a community participant with the Water Engagement Initiative. As a life-long volunteer, over 50 years, in community sports and conservation initiatives as a Coach, Director, Chair and President in various organizations, Ray believes it is necessary for the entire community to become involved in some way to address environmental concerns within our watershed and ecosystem that will achieve benefits in our lifetime and for future generations. Ray believes that respect for inclusion, collaborative and strategic planning with on-going monitoring and follow-up ensures positive results; That greater opportunities present themselves and issues get resolved faster when we work together.
